Final Video Project: Real Emotion VS Fake Emotion

Real Emotion VS Fake Emotion. For this project, I used pictures that I took with my camera (The quality was kind of distorted from the video app I used) and I used music that I wrote, and my friend played on her guitar. All the pictures that are paired together, both fake emotions and real emotions, are connected in some special way to me. The music that I wrote has a sentimental, empathetic feel to it and I would like to thank my friend Eleanor for playing the music on her guitar that I wrote for this video. All the pictures have a happiness to them and the emotion that they all portray is blissfulness. None of the pictures are sad or anger, all are happiness and/or calmness. All I want to do is promote happiness, self love and encourage people to be true to themselves. The next few paragraphs are little blurbs behind what each picture means and why the two "Fake VS Real" emotion pictures connect and what all the pictures mean to me. People and things that have value

Music Blog

Briella Zoino Music Blog Art and Technology 14 November 2017 Punk- Green Day. Green Day has been around since 1989 and they are still around today. The lead singer, Billy Joe Armstrong, is very talented and his voice is known very well by just about everyone in the world. Green Day has millions, if not billions of fans, including myself. They are considered a punk band and have instruments including the drums, electric guitar, and bass. Green Day has the occasional swear word in their songs, also. I chose the band Green Day because I am a big fan and their music has been a part of my life since middle school. When they release any new music I always get excited. They recently played on Good Morning America in New York City in 2015 and a huge crowd of people came to see them. I believe that their music fits into the Punk category because their music is very rebellious and hardcore. With the electric guitars, electric bass, and heavily used drums, they really are the &quo

Electronics Paper

Briella Zoino Art and Technology Electronics Paper 31 October 2017 Electronics Paper: The Wheel The wheel is not something people think about on an everyday basis. It has become sort of a cliche to ask “what would we do without the wheel?” or “when was the wheel made?”. The wheel has been around since 4500–3300 BCE, but yet it seems like it has been around forever. What would humans do without the wheel? Half the inventions we have today would not be here, we would not even be able to create most inventions without the wheel to begin with. The wheel by itself is not a machine, but when it is attached to something, that is when the magic happens. What has the wheel done for humans in the past and in today’s modern world? Well, for starters, the wheel was first used for potters. The artists would use a potter's wheel to shape art, or ceramic pots. It was a machine to help artists do their work a little faster. Then, that potter’s wheel turned into a wheel that

Zerox Project

For the Artist and Technology project I chose to do a mandala because I love the symmetry and simplicity of it. The project is about 2 and a half feet and I wanted it to resemble like a flower blooming. Mandalas are very calming, and I thought making one out of hands would be very interesting. The outside part of the mandala is my whole hand, the middle part is just my fingers, and the middle is the palm of my hand. I think this project looks very interesting in black and white because of the different shading in the ink that appeared when it printed. This project was very calming and fun to do.  My inspiration for this project was Jamie Lockeart. Her mandala's are so beautiful and I would love to get a tattoo one day based off of her art. her website is http://www.jamielockeart.com/ and all of her work is displayed on her website. She is brilliant and makes huge amazing mandala's. I found out about her through my Senior year art teacher, Mrs. Noll. Since then I have followed

Grid Art

For the Grid Art project, I took flashcards and I cut them down into small, square pieces. In the middle I included a full size flashcard in my art with a drawing of flowers that I drew on it. The card says "Be Free" because sometimes the world gets caught up on the stressful things in life. People forget about the little things, like the flowers that I drew, and at the end of the day the small things that set you free of stress is what matters.  This project took me four hours to do. I made the grid, cut down the pieces of flashcards, measured out each piece, glued them down, and colored them in. The first picture is just the perimeter done with the coloring. The second picture is the finished product. I used four colors including pink, blue, green, and yellow.

Ascii Art

In my opinion, ascii art is very cool. It takes a lot of patience, something I do not have. I love how when you look at the image from far away it creates a big image as a whole, but when you are close up, it shows the little dots or symbols used to make it. I think ascii art should be a more popular art for people to chose to do because it tests their patience and could make them a more skillful artist and be more proud and appreciative of their art if they practice that patience.

Stop Motion Animation

I wanted to do something cute and simple for my Stop Motion Animation project. In the video, the pink little circle grows and is very happy. He ends up being sad because he realizes his other friend isn't around. A blue triangle pops up and tries to cheer up the pink circle, but it doesn't work. The pink circle shows the blue triangle that the little yellow light is "dying". The yellow light disappears and the pink circle decides to do the same. To keep the pink circle from "dying", the blue triangle gets an idea, and turns the light bulb above his head into a little energy mass of light. The yellow light turns into a new friend for both the pink circle and blue triangle. They play all day and live happily ever after.  The video is sideways and I tried to turn it, but it wouldn't allow me to.
